Boeing was incorporated in Washington by William E. Boeing on 15th of July 1916, as “Pacific Aero Products Co.” and was re-named the “Boeing Airplane Company” on the 9th of May 1917. The Boeing 777 series airliners are twin-engined long-range airliners, the design was based on the existing Boeing 767 and is able to carry between 301 and 368 passengers, it first entered commercial service as the 200 series in May 1995, the ER variants have have "extended-range" when compared with the standard aircraft.
