The smaller and most common types of airliners are referred to as
narrow-body or single aisle airliners which are generally used for
medium-distance flights. The names of these types of airliners include
the the Boeing 727, DC-8,717, 737, 757, DC-9, MD80 series, and Airbus
A320, Fokker 70 / 100, VC10, Tupolev, and Yakovlev jet airliners also
fit into this category.

Concorde Airliners

famous trade name of the supersonic airliners. The Concorde
supersonic airliners made their debut in 1969 and were used by
British Airways airlines and Air France airlines. The Concorde

Vickers was formed in Sheffield in the UK by Edward Vickers in 1828.
