Today Airbus and Boeing dominate the Worlds airliner production, the largest airliner in production for many decades has been the "Jumbo" Boeing 747 series but now the new Airbus A380, due to enter service in 2007 is even bigger and has already been nicknamed the "Super-jumbo". The Airbus A320 is a twin engined, single aisle airliner normally seating 180 passengers, the aircraft first flew on the 22nd February 1987.
