AP-BGR PIA Airbus A310-325/ETInformation about the Airbus A310-325/ET Airbus Industrie started as a consortium of European firms in 1967 when British, French and German governments signed a Memorandum of Understanding to develop the first Airbus airliner the Airbus A300. Today Airbus and Boeing dominate the Worlds airliner production, the largest airliner in production for many decades was the "Jumbo Jet" but now the all new Airbus A380, due to enter service in 2007 is even bigger and is already referred to as a "Superjumbo". The Airbus A310 is a twin engined, twin aisle airliner modified from the original A300 design, the A310 seats 200 to 280 passengers and first flew on the 3rd April 1982 and entered commercial service shortly afterwards. Information about Pakistan International Airlines - PIA Pakistan International Airlines is the National Airline of Pakistan, it can trace it's origin back to 1946 with the creation of Orient Airways and three DC-3 airliners. In 1955 Orient Airways was merged with the Pakistan Government's proposed airline, becoming Pakistan International Airlines and began operating international services.
