PH-BXI KLM Boeing 737-8K2Information about the Boeing 737-9K2 Boeing was incorporated in Washington by William E. Boeing on 15th of July 1916, as “Pacific Aero Products Co.” and was re-named the “Boeing Airplane Company” on the 9th of May 1917. Today Boeing has become the World's largest aircraft manufacturer with only Airbus as significant or major competitor. The Boeing 737-900 series airliners have evolved from the original 1967 737 design and are powered by twin CFM56-7 turbofan engines, these new engines can be seen to have an oval crossection, this is a result of having to fit the engines auxiliary components at the sides of the engines rather than concentrically to give provide ground clearance due to the increased engine size. The 800 series 737's are the longest of the current 737 series of airliners, first entering service in the year 2000. Information about KLM KLM (Royal Dutch Airlines) operated it's first flight in May 1920 and was for many years the national airline of the Netherlands, KLM merged with Air France in early May 2004 and become a subsidiary of the new airline Air France-KLM.
