PH-BTF KLM Boeing 737-406Information about the Boeing 737-406 Boeing was incorporated in Washington by William E. Boeing on 15th of July 1916, as “Pacific Aero Products Co.” and was re-named the “Boeing Airplane Company” on the 9th of May 1917. Today Boeing has become the Worlds largest manufacturer of airliners with only Airbus as significant or major competitor. The Boeing 737 first flew on the 9th of April 1967, it continued in production for thirteen years with little change until the introduction of the re-designed 300 series aircraft. The Boeing 737-400 series are powered by twin CFM56-3 turbofan engines, the airliner is effectively a stretched 737-300 series airliner, the Boeing 737-400 series first entered commercial service during 1988. Information about KLM KLM (Royal Dutch Airlines) operated it's first flight during May 1920 and was the Netherlands national airline until the merged with Air France in May 2004, becoming a subsidiary of Air France-KLM.
