Boeing was incorporated in Washington by William E. Boeing on 15th of July 1916, as “Pacific Aero Products Co.” and was re-named the “Boeing Airplane Company” on the 9th of May 1917. Today Boeing has become the Worlds largest manufacturer of airliners with only Airbus as significant or major competitor.

The Boeing 737 first took to the air on 9th of April 1967, it continued in production for thirteen years with relatively little change until the introduction of the 300 series airliners. The Boeing 737-400 series airliners are powered by twin CFM56-3 turbofan engines, it is a stretched 737-300 series airliner, the Boeing 737-400 series first entered service in 1988.

Information about KLM

KLM (Royal Dutch Airlines) operated it's first flight in May 1920 and was the national airline of the Netherlands until it merged with Air France in May 2004 to become a subsidiary of Air France-KLM.
