Airbus Industrie was formed in 1967 when a consortium of European aviation firms in 1967 when British, French and German governments signed a Memorandum of Understanding to develop the first Airbus airliner the origonal Airbus A300. Today Airbus and Boeing dominate the Worlds airliner production, the largest airliner in production for several decades has been the "Jumbo Jet " Boeing 747 series airliners but now the new Airbus A380, due to enter service in 2007 is larger and is already referred to as the "Super-jumbo".

The Airbus A330 airliner is a twin engined, twin aisle airliner with seating capacity for 220 passengers, the A330 first flew on the 2nd November 1992.

Information about Jet Airways

Formed in April 1992 in India, Jet Airways started it's first commercial airline operation in May 1993 in Mumbai India with a fleet of four Boeing 737-300 airliners.  Jet Airlines currently operates a mixed airliner fleet of Boeing Airbus and ATR aircraft.
