Today Airbus and Boeing dominate the Worlds airliner production, the largest airliner in production for many decades has been the "Jumbo" Boeing 747 series but now the new Airbus A380, due to enter service in 2007 is even bigger and is already referred to as the "Superjumbo". The Airbus A330 airliner is a twin engined, twin aisle airliner with seating capacity for 220 passengers, the A330 first flew on the 2nd November 1992. Information about Etihad Airways Etihad Airways is the Government owned National Airline of the United Arab Emirates and has it's headquarters in Abu Dhabi. Etihad Airways was formed in 2003 and currently operates Airbus A330-200's, Airbus A340-300's, Airbus A340-500, Boeing 777-300ER'a and a single Boeing 767-300 with orders placed for the new Airbus A380.
