Boeing was incorporated in Washington by William E. Boeing on 15th of July 1916, as “Pacific Aero Products Co.” and was re-named the “Boeing Airplane Company” on the 9th of May 1917. Today Boeing has become the Worlds largest manufacturer of airliners with only Airbus as significant or major competitor. Boeing 767 was launched in 1978 primarily as a replacement for the successful but aging Boeing 707, it's almost a wide-body jet variant of the Boeing 757 airliner which was introduced about the same time.

El Al Israel Airlines was formed in November 1948, it is the national airline of Israel and operates an all Boeing fleet of airliners. It is interesting to note that all international El Al planes are fitted with anti-missile countermeasures and are re-enforced to increase their chances of surviving an onboard explosion.
