Airbus Industrie began as a consortium of European aviation firms in 1967 when British, French and German governments signed a Memorandum of Understanding to develop the first Airbus airliner the Airbus A300. Today Airbus and Boeing dominate the Worlds airliner production. The Airbus A320 is a twin engined, single aisle airliner seating 180 passengers, the aircraft first flew on the 22nd February 1987.

Clickair is a new airline and began operations on the 1st of October 2006, Iberia controls 80% of Clickair's economic rights and has a 20% shareholding in the airline. Clickair has a growing fleet of all Airbus A320-200 and intends to have thirty operational aircraft by the end of 2008 serving numerous European destinations.
