Boeing on 15th of July 1916, as “Pacific Aero Products Co.”, the company was re-named the “Boeing Airplane Company” on the 9th of May 1917. Boeing 767 was launched in 1978 primarily as a replacement for the successful but aging Boeing 707, it's almost a wide-body jet variant of the Boeing 757 airliner which was introduced about the same time. The Boeing 767-300/ER series are a lengthened 200 series 767 airliner combined with an "extended-range" of 11,305 km, they were first introduced into service during 1988. Information about British Airways - BA British Airways was initially Founded as "Imperial Airways" during 1924 following the merger of Instone, Handley Page, Daimler Airways and British Air Marine Navigation. In 1939 the British government decided to nationalise Imperial Airways and British Airways and named the new company British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC).
