Empresa Brasileira de Aeronáutica S.A., "Embraer", is a company created by the Brazilian Ministry of Aeronautics during July 1969, it's first production aircraft being delivered in 1973. The Embraer EMB-145 first flew in December 1996, the Embraer EMB-145EP is basically the same as the EMB-145 but with greater fuel capacity to extend it's range and a 1000kg greater maximum takeoff weight (20,990kg).
