Today Airbus and Boeing dominate the Worlds airliner production. The Airbus A320 is a twin engined, single aisle airliner seating 180 passengers, the aircraft first flew on the 22nd February 1987.

Formed in 1946 as Aerolinee Italiane Internazionali, commonly known as Alitalia, it joined the SkyTeam Alliance in 2001, Alitalia's current airliner fleet consists of Airbus, Boeing and McDonnell Douglas aircraft.
