The Airbus A330 airliner is a twin engined, twin aisle airliner with seating capacity for 220 passengers, the A330 first flew on the 2nd November 1992. Information about Air Canada Air Canada was founded in 1937 as Canada's national airline and was privatised in 1989. Air Canada was founding member of the worlds largest airline alliance "Star Alliance" formed in 1997. Air Canada operates a mixed fleet of Airbus, Boeing and Embraer airliners.
